I hope you found a band for your son to be in. My son David started in the homeschool band in 4th grade. He played in it until 9th grade and made it to first trumpeteer. He had to quit because of no time. The band called him back, as they needed a good player, in Jan. of his 10th. There is nothing like the companionship of music. He is in 11th grade and is planning on being a music teacher, he plays in 2 city bands and church orchestra. Good luck with your son's music tell him to stick with it and check into what your city has to offer. Edna from Syracuse New York
