On May 5-6, 2006, Loving Education At Home, Inc., will be hosting the 4th Annual LI/NYC LEAH Homeschool Convention. The convention will take place at the Bible Korean Methodist Church at 1201 Carlls Straight Path, Dix Hills, Long Isalnd. This convention is for veterans, beginners, and those thinking about starting to homeschool. Our Keynote Speakers this year will be Jay Wile from Apologia Science; Cindy Wiggers from Georgraphy Matters; and Jim Weiss the Storyteller from Greathall Productions. Over two days, we offer 21 workshops, three keynote speecjes, and host a huge vendor exhibition that includes companies such as A Beka, Bright Minds, Alpha Omega, Bob Jones University Press, Lamplighter Publishing, and more. We support and promote home education in New York State through support groups by and for home educating parents.
