Good Morning, I am a COMPLETE newcomer to homeschooling. I have four children, three have had wonderful success in public school, but my last child has struggled for years. Finally, after a completely frustrating 6th grade year we are ready to homeschool! Jackson was labeled 'learning disabled' in the 2nd grade. He does not have ADD or ADHD, but he is very slow in working his lessons - he gets it, he is just painfully slow. His accuracy and comprehension is high, but his speed causes the public school teachers to fret. Anyway, enough about that.... What I am really looking for is a Cirriculum Fair anywhere in Texas so I can access a wide variety of homeschool information at one location. Does anyone know of one happening in Texas? Thanks for your time!
