Barbara;

My heart goes out to you. I worked fulltime a few years ago while I was homeschooling two children (8 and 6 yrs. old). My mother came and stayed with us and helped me the first few weeks when she left and returned to NY, things quickly deteriorated. The most important lesson I learned during that time was to: Prioritize, prioritize, organize, organize and pray, pray. Example: Instead of assigning each child work in six different subjects each day give one or two assignments where their struggling, while still covering your Language Arts and Math.
One extra curriculum activity per semester. These are a couple of adjustments our family made, every family is different though, what worked with one family may not yield the same results as another family. I hope some of this is helpful and wish you the best.
