My son will be entering the K12 program in the fall, and he wants to make sure he's prepared for their 7th grade math, which is Pre Algebra B. We've been using Saxon, and he's currently finishing up Saxon 7/6, which has very little algebra. He would like to do math through the summer to prepare, but I'm not sure what curriculum would best prepare him. We have both Saxon 8/7 and Saxon Algebra 1 here, which we purchased before we enrolled in k12. I am leaning towards skipping 87 and having him do Saxon Algebra 1 through the summer to prepare. If anyone has experience with K12's math, I'd appreciate your advice on this!
