Hi Everyone, :)

Could use some ideas. Next year, I will be only homeschooling our youngest son, who will be starting 7th grade. I'll be on the road a lot, helping one daughter commune to her job (1/2 hr. away) 4x week and another daughter commune to college for her cooking classes 2x a week (close to an hour away). Neither can afford a car at this point and public transportation is lacking in both areas at the times they have to be there. So I will be partially homeschooling at home and will have to partially homeschool on the road.

I'm looking for curriculum for 7th grade in any subject that can be learned on tape or CD and would love lots of imput. Right now, I'm thinking I can have him do Bible, literature, history, geography, science and music apppreciation (and a foreign language if we decide to start it in 7th grade) on tapes and CDs in the car and give tests at home to make sure he's absorbing it. Foreign language and music appreciation are simple enough to find on tape or CD, but what about the other subjects? I'm probably going to do only 3 subjects in this way and then do the rest by book and computer when we are home. I'm on a strict budget for school, so the programs I use will have to be low cost.

Any suggestions would be a blessing...Many thanks in advance...
