Hi. I homeschooled my 2 boys a while ago and now I'm a foster mom. I used a beginning phonics book with my boys, I think it might have been Sonlight. It had a blue cover. My foster son has english as his second language and he needs help! I have been spending time reading with him after school but he really needs the basics. Does anyone know what book this might have been? OR do you have any suggeestions on the best beginning phonics/reading book to tutor him at night. He is a 6th grader but reads at a 1st grade level. Thanks you for any help you can provide me!
