Subject:         Anyone interested in a Traveling Homeschool Notebook this summer?
Date: April 21, 2010 at 7:09 am PST

I got this idea from my daughter who is doing a traveling notebook, with other college students, through a postcard exchange program. It seemed like so much fun that I thought I would try starting one with homeschoolers.

Here's the basic idea: We'll start out with an empty notebook (just a plain spiral or composition book so it won't be expensive to mail) and a list of names & addresses of participants. Each family will decorate 4 or 5 pages and then send it on to the next person on the list. When the book gets back to me, I can copy the whole thing & send it out in an email so everyone can see the finished product.

What to put on your pages: Anything! Some pictures & interesting facts about where you live; a day in the life of your homeschool; an interesting project you've done this year; family photos; artwork; etc.

As you receive & send on the notebook, post a comment so we can see where it's going. If everyone gets their portion done and sent on in about a week's time, the notebook should keep moving at a good pace.

If you're interested, send me an email at . When I get about 10 people lined up, I'll get started.
