Subject:         Can't find curriculum I like, HELP!
Date: September 17, 2009 at 12:37 am PST

Hi all. I am new to homeschooling and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choices. I was hoping to find an all inclusive curriculum that uses different media to present material. In other words I would like to find something that uses textbooks, workbooks, online material and/or DVDs. For instance, what I loved from researching ABeka was the DVDs with an actual teacher giving a lesson.I don't yet understand how it works with having to teach 2 kids/2 different grades etc. And I mean, I am sure they don't want to hear me speak all day, gee, I don't want to hear me all day. But I didn't love that it is dated looking to say the least and would prefer something secular.When I looked into Oak Meadow and Calvert,I liked somethings but they seemed all textbook. Also, I said I wanted all inclusive because we would do well with a structured program. Any help would be really appreciated. As you can see I am really confused. @}
