I'm not all that familiar with the ones you mention, because i started mine out using Great Books Academy, supplemented in the early grades with science books geared for kids, trips to science museums and nature centers, and Rosetta Stone foreign languages. The upper grades already have excellent science and math built into the curriculum. My kids are well ahead of grade level now and happy, interested and challenged. Since many of the books are in the public domain, I save a lot on materials. The online and audio class discussions are optional; we've chosen to do them and really like them.
