I also emphasize day-to-day budgeting; I also include long-term financial planning with the assumption of being independent, e.g., needing to provide for own needs without a spouse. Even if my girls choose to marry, husbands can die, get disabled, or leave, and the odds are against any young woman having full paternal support for her children through their college years - let alone any spousal support in retirement. They need to plan to take care of themselves.

I teach growing, preserving and planning vegan meals, shopping frugally, etc. We work on how to find the best bargains, and how to prioritize spending.

We work on choosing and shopping for a vehicle, and basic maintenance. We are working on planning for buying a house, and how to manage credit/choose a location/etc. Home repairs are a big one - we do carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical repair, as well as handling balky appliances. They are each getting a good set of tools for graduation.

we do a study of child development and child care, including behavioral management and communication.

We also do the "people and places" safety stuff, along with self-defense.We do dating/relationship safety, like how to recognize an abuser early on.

We are working on career planning now - talking about how to figure out what kinds of jobs may be satisfying and provide adequate income over the long haul, which offer options for change/burnout relief, etc. We're also working on workplace skills, how to do a job search, go for interviews, etc.
