I LOVE Videotext. HATE Saxon. I tried Saxon Algebra 1/2 and my daughter was in tears throughout. Switched to Videotext and she has been fine. In fact I just finished it with both my daughters. They both learned all the algebra they needed and are seamlessly moving on to Thinkwell pre-calculus. In fact I found that I could skip the first 2-1/2 chapters of Thinkwell Precalculus. The video lessons explain each concept thoroughly and you can always rewatch the lesson, or use the books if you need more help. And, you can also call Videotext and they have math teachers who will answer any question you have.
