I looked at the price of this curriculum many years ago and brushed it off. It looked too confusing and too pricey. Then about 3 yr ago I found one of their catalogs and it had a better lay out. I was able to understand what it involved and see the daily lesson plans. Then I wanted it so bad...but again it looked too pricey. Of course I can't tell you how many curriculums I bought tweaked and ended up adding to and probably spent that much or more during the year.
This year I bit the bullet and went with CORE 7. We absolutely LOVE it. Yes, I have tweaked it a bit, but my DD struggles with schooling....I wouldn't have had to tweak it at all if I had used it with my son...in fact he probably could have done much of it on his own(upper grades) with such a lay out of the teachers guide. We have learned so much !!!!

By ordering the CORE you can order more things at a great discount for a whole year. I went back and added Winston Grammer and it was cheap to order through Sonlight ...because I had bought the CORE.

If I could go back I would have used Sonlight many many years ago. !!!!!!
