You could just purchase an IG (instructor's guide) and use the library, but you may not find ALL the books there. Still, using the library and buying an IG and a few books from them would be cheaper than buying a whole core new.

Always check the swap boards here for a used set.

Also, are you a member of a local home school group? Put out a request at the next meeting or on its email loop to look at an IG and some books.
