and partially because we are not huge Science fans,
MY TWO HIGH SCHOOLERS AND I LOVE THE PROGRAM!!! We
are learning sooooo much, and I dare say, with a
program like Apologia, Abeka, etc., we would not be
enjoying or even learning it well, because it is too
rigorous for us. Again, we are more into History,
Literature, Computer stuff, etc., so for Science
lovers or those pursuing Science in college or as a
career, these other programs would probably appeal
to them. FOR US, Paradygm/Pacworks, with its
"magazine feel" units and not as much math, along
with the emphasis on the scientists and history
behind all the discoveries, IS EXACTLY WHAT WE
NEEDED TO GET US THRU THESE DIFFICULT SUBJECTS...and
even Mom's learning the stuff! :)
