I would recommend checking out CLEP and DSST exams. If you pass the test, college credit is earned and can be transferred in to your choice of around 3,000 colleges. There are also 3 colleges that allow you to completely test out of courses using these tests, so your entire degree can be done at home or online. The "Big 3" are Thomas Edison, Charter Oak and Excelsior. Check them out at degreeforum. For info on CLEP check out the collegeboard site. For DSST check out getcollegecredit. ClepPrep has tons of good advice and free info about both kinds of tests. ALEKS allows you to earn credit at your own pace at home in various math courses. Feel free to contact me with more specific questions.
