I use online classes to assist me in areas where I don't have a clue; such as the math level to which my daughter has risen. She has used a particular math curriculum since she was in elementary school, and now in HS she is continuing with that curriculum in her online class (jonesgeniuses.com). In short, I don't have an online vs homeschooling point of view; when I’m clueless on a subject , I find online classes that work well with my idea of what my daughter's education should look like. This may work for you too in the case where you’re not clueless like me, but temporarily physically unable. hth Cynthia
