Hi, I have twins who are 15, I had decided to continue to home educate my son who has some processing problems, and put my daughter in a online school. Well, the week after school started I fell, broke my leg and ended up in the hospital.
To make a long story short, I'm off of it for 3 months and cannot get to the place where I can help my daughter who is completely frustrated, as I am feeling as if we will never catch up, plus I am not excited about how much work she has to do to prove she is in school. The work is alot, and to me not because of quality but to fill time. I have homeschooled for over 12 years, and am wondering if I am letting myself be tormented or just quit the online and get us back into a routine that works for all of us. They both attend a co-op that teaches, art, writing, speech and a finance class.
What have others had to decide about online home education? Tamra
