Our son will enter 9th grade this next school year. He's been homeschooled throughout and is a good student with well-rounded interests, and wants to continue homeschooling. We met with the very young, new principal four our very small rural town high school where we live and asked about what options were there for part-time attendance. Our interest is primarily in driver's ed and AP classes (trying to rack up some college credits). Our son has also shown a mild interest in track and field/basketball and band, but we know he'd have to take 4 classes (12 credits) to participate in those, so we're not sure that's going to happen. The principal made a strong pitch to have him there full time, and in response to the part-time option questions said, "What would that look like?" Is anyone on this list participating on a part time basis in the local public school? Would anyone be willing to share your experience with me and maybe a contact name of your principal so he/she can tell ours 'what it looks like'? Thanks! Julie
