In my state there is a foreigh language requirement of 2 credits. I am wondering if signing counts as a foreign language in most states??? My son is so dreading taking a foreign lang. We can't afford Rosetta. I don't remember a bit of my high school Spanish nor college French.

He is going into his junior year so need to make a decision this summer. Any ideas out there? Curriculum suggestions? What has/has not worked for your child? What should I be looking for in a program? Thanks in advance.
