Thanks for the suggestions. I looked them up. The Spectrum Chem was expensive! But the textbook reading is less than Apologia's. Friendly Chem - Are the lessons presented with games and manipulatives? What about labs? Does the student read the textbook. or is the text for the parent? I don't know how we'd do with games to learn concepts. He is a student who likes have the material concise and to the point. Don't beat around the bush. But I am curious and willing to look at options. Is this comprehensive enough for high school level Chem?
