Shauna,
The difference between a CD and a DVD is basically that the CD is not a video. They will only function on a computer. The DVD will play on either a computer or a television DVD player. The DIVE and Saxon Teaxher are CD's and will not play on a television.
There is another qualified product supporting Saxon upper level math courses. It is a DVD and sells for $49.95 per course. The lessons are taught by an experienced high school math teacher who used the Saxon books for more than a dozen years.
Please visit www.usingsaxon.com to preview these DVD's. You can read his September newsletter to learn more about the various supplements to John Saxon's math books.
Hope this helped.
