I used part of year 2 for a reluctant high schooler. We had started with Beautiful Feet, and it got to be too much reading (and little else). Konos had a much wider variety of things to learn and to do. It was a good addition for us. She also had read a lot of Streams of Civilization, lots of Bible history, etc.

For my youngest, I will use My Father's World, which includes Notgrass among other things, but those were not available when my dd needed them.
