We just finished Notgrass' Exploring America. I wish I had used their World History. I just ordered the government course. It's incredibly interesting!!

He is a master of weaving in history with a Christian worldview. I was really surprised at how much my boys learned and remembered. We used the optional questions and tests. The literature was awesome. the writing assignments were also great. You could easily have them memorize and recite speeches and write their own and count a speech credit as well. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. I'm very impressed. HTH
