You might also take a look at Jensen's Vocabulary. I used Word Roots for my 7th grader and it was a good fit. It doesn't look difficult enough for high school. It may work for 9th grade, but I would use the highest levels (I believe its B1 & B2). We have used Wordly Wise as well, and it does a great job at SAT prep. My kids didn't really enjoy it, but they did learn!!
