only allows the software to be installed twice. They allow for someone needing it on a desktop and a laptop. If you are the original owner, you can get a new activation code from the company, but they will not give it to anyone else. We have version 2, and it has been installed on four of our computers, so I think it may be safe for someone to buy version 2, although it is still illegal to resell version 2 because of the license agreement.
