I have 9th grader that is just an average math student and we have worked with SOS math for two years and are changing curriculum. I like the set up for lesson plans/record keeping/grades that is automatic and comes out nicely organized for you and I like the calendar that you can customize to fit your schedule.....but we have found it hard to grasp the explanations/concepts and to work math problems out on computer is somewhat of a challenge when used to working with books. Built in calculator is nice but overall we don't care for program and are switching mid-year. I have been looking at Math Without Borders website and may go with what they have recommended for Algebra I/II - Foerster's Algebra I w/Home Study Companion. Reviews are excellent for those using Saxon and Teaching Textbooks - this is also somewhat pricey but you may be able to save through Amazon (?) Good luck.
