My son and I are going through it this year too. Module 2 is really tough; I've heard it is the hardest module of the whole course. I'll admit it helps that I went through this course with my daughter 2 years ago. I discovered that if I sit with him while he reads the text out loud to me and does the problems, he focuses better on the concepts. Also, I make sure that my son finishes the module on the Wednesday before his biweekly Friday tests. This gives him time on Thursday to review thoroughly. Another help has been the Teaching Company's High School Chemistry DVDs. Someone on this board mapped out which lessons correspond with which modules: Module 1: Episodes 4, 5, 6 Module 2: Module 3: Episode 7 Module 4: Episode 13 Module 5: Episodes 7, 8, 9, 13 Module 6: Episodes 10, 11, 14, 15, 16 Module 7: No particular corresponding episode Module 8: No particular corresponding episode Module 9: Episode 30 Module 10: Episodes 17, 18, 19, 26, 27, 28, 29 Module 11: Episode 24 Module 12: No particular corresponding episode Module 13: Episodes 23, 24 Module 14: Episodes 20, 23, 24 Module 15: Episodes 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 Module 16: No particular corresponding episode I do hope this gives *you* hope! --Connnie
