We have done five of the Apologia classes over the years, General Science through Physics. The first year I used lesson plans I got online but quickly realized that spending two weeks on each module worked out great. We allowed one day for the study guide and review and one day for the test which left 6-8 days to read the text, do selected experiments, and write one thorough lab write-up. This plan is very workable, and my senior electrical engineering son can attest to how very well this prepared him for college science.
