As far as which curriculum to use, it depends on your child. I homeschool my 12 and 14 yr olds and it can be a bit overwhelming at times. One suggestion- no matter how good or bad your child is in math, a life-saver is Teaching Textbooks! I have a kid that is great at math and one that is okay at it. My niece is not so good at math. My sis and I tried it for the first time this school year and I will never use anything else. It teaches your child on a computer for you and has all the answers to any questions they could have- even solutions to every problem assigned if they need to see it. They have a demo at their site www.teachingtextbooks.com and it really is exactly how it looks. For the other subjects, A Beka is good for a lot of it. Personally, I'm trying to find something that requires less of my time for this next school year as I am due to have our 3rd child at the end of August. Feel free to email me if I can be of any help!
