consider CLEP tests. A student can "test out" of various general education requirements by taking one of these national exams: College Level Examination Program. Colleges award 3-6 credits for each exam passed, but check with FIT to see which exams they accept. My son took several before college. They are only about $65 (plus sometimes a site fee) and there are many study books available (REA is tops) for review. Look at collegeboard.com for more info.
