check with FIT first to make sure what their approach towards hsed students is. Since your dd knows that is what she wants to do, you want to make sure that your schooling plans for her last year of high school will not keep her from admittance there. Find out what their requirements for acceptance are and how they approach hsed students and hs transcripts, and also find out what their policy for scholarships for hs students is. If all that sounds as if it will work out for you if you hs your dd, then go for it! Then check with your local cc---your dd could maybe get a head start with some dual-credit courses next year at your local cc. In many states, these are free or lower cost for high school students. They can count for her senior year of high school, save you money, and then also give her a head start at FIT. Best of both worlds!
