My 11th grade daughter wants to be Home Schooled???

She only has one year left in the public school system but she is fed up and wants to go to college now. Though she has always been an excellent student (honor roll) she cannot stand being in school. She complains of the types of kids, many are into drugs and alcohol which she is not and the girls are quite sexually advanced, if you know what I mean. She has also had problems with teachers who are incompetent, one of which gave her a 44 because she said my daughter did not hand in work and when my daughter fought back the teacher found the work in her piles (ungraded) and changed her grade to a 90! I am looking into the home schooling process because I feel the public school system is not the right choice for her and may only be a detriment to her desire to continue her education. She is planning to go to FIT for fashion design. So I am asking for anyones opinion and advice. Thank you.
