This video won the Award of Excellence from the Film Advisory Board. “A curious kitten named Milo and his inseparable friend, a pug-nosed puppy named Otis, tumble through one exciting escapade after another in a heartwarming live-action film. Milo and Otis start life together on a farm and spend their days exploring the barnyard and the surrounding countryside. One day, the little feline is swept down a rushing river and Otis takes off in pursuit to rescue his friend, thus beginning a series of adventures. This movie took four years to complete, is a film that will delight both the young and young-at-heart.” This is one of my favorite children’s films! by Jane Baskwill - Mondo Publishing - Copyright 1996 -24 pages. This brand new paperback book is in super condition. The illustrations were produced by partly scratching off India ink drawings. Color was applied to the scratched areas, which produced a very interesting effect. “At any moment in time, somewhere on our planet, wonderful things are happening in nature. This beautifully illustrated poem lets you discover some of them.” This is a simple book with only two lines of poetry per drawing. The drawing covers both pages. The poem begins with, “Somewhere in the raindrop, A rainbow forms from light; Somewhere in the darkness, A start lights up the night;” I personally think that even babies would love to look at the pictures and listen to the gentle rhythm of the poem in this book.
