By Arthur H. Parsons, Jr. - E.M. Hale and Company - Copyright 1954 - 46 pages. This hardback book is an ex-library book with the typical markings and stamps in good condition. There is some wear to the cover. The pages are firm and tightly bound. The book is beautifully illustrated by Lynd Ward who did a great job with pencil drawings. The story is about Tommy’s French horn that no one could only make a strange peculiar noise. Even the famous conductor, Vladimir Petrovitch Vanivoff could not make the horn produce any sound other than phloof. “Suddenly a funny little man picked up the horn, and it produced a great sound. Until you read the story, you won’t know what a silly thing could have caused those horrible noises. Terry got to play his own horn with the Symphony, and was he proud!” ***NOW $1.00***

by Jane Baskwill - Mondo Publishing - Copyright 1996 -24 pages. This brand new paperback book is in super condition. The illustrations were produced by partly scratching off India ink drawings. Color was applied to the scratched areas, which produced a very interesting effect. “At any moment in time, somewhere on our planet, wonderful things are happening in nature. This beautifully illustrated poem lets you discover some of them.” This is a simple book with only two lines of poetry per drawing. The drawing covers both pages. The poem begins with, “Somewhere in the raindrop, A rainbow forms from light; Somewhere in the darkness, A start lights up the night;” I personally think that even babies would love to look at the pictures and listen to the gentle rhythm of the poem in this book.
