Choose from calicos, plaids, solids, satins, and taffetas from my fabric swatch collection. Feel free to order just accessories too! To place an order, write to me at needle.haystack@verizon.net . Since each item is custom fitted, an easy to follow “how to take measurements” guide will be e-mailed to you upon receiving your request.

~Calico Day Dress~

elegant yellow calico day dress, mob cap with trim, handbag, matching doll’s set

CALICO DAY DRESS: a lovely cotton calico day dress with two choices of embellishments. Simple dress includes a contrasting lace topped stomacher criss-crossed with ribbon, ankle length full skirt, elbow length sleeves with deep ruffles of either dress fabric or contrasting cotton with ribbon bow accents, and back zipper closure. Elegant dress includes the same details, but with additional rows of ribbon and lace bordering each side of the stomacher. Available in girls sizes 3-16. Women’s sizes available and prices vary with size and dress options.

Simple day dress: sizes 3-8 $36, sizes 10-16 $38
Elegant day dress: sizes 3-8 $40, sizes 10-16 $42

Matching doll dress set includes the same detailed trim and ribbon work on stomacher and sleeves, a cap of your choice, handbag, and hair ribbon. $18 for the simple dress set and $22 for the elegant

~Rose Garden Dress~

ROSE GARDEN DRESS: A beautiful semi-fitted, ankle length dress made from any lovely print calico, a full gathered skirt, gently scooping ruffled neckline, and elbow length sleeves edged with either a single deep sleeve ruffle in matching dress fabric or a contrasting fabric or a double sleeve ruffle in white or cream and dress fabric with an elegant dip in the back. Your choice of calico. Hair ribbon included. Available in girls’ sizes 3-16. Women’s sizes available and prices will vary with size and sleeve options.

Single sleeve ruffle dress: sizes 3-8 $34, sizes 10-16 $36
Double sleeve ruffle dress: sizes 3-8 $36, sizes 10-16 $38

Matching doll dress set includes the same detailed dress, cap of your choice, and hair ribbon $16 for the single sleeve ruffle dress set or $18 for the double row.

~Laced Jacket and Skirt Set~

LACED JACKET and SKIRT SET like Felicity’s: includes a fitted and lined calico jacket with a gently scooping neckline edged with ruffles, elbow length sleeves with ruffled edges, and a ruffled pointed peplum hemline in back. The jacket laces up the front with satin cord. The ankle-length cranberry colored skirt is pleated front and back, has side pockets, and buttons on both sides of the waistband. I have other jacket fabric options and can send you swatch pictures. The set can also be made in other color combinations. Available in girls sizes 5-16 $45. Women’s sizes available and prices will vary.

~BALL GOWNS in two styles~ Ball gowns are unique and no two are exactly alike.

~Polonaise Gown~

POLONAISE GOWN: An elegant floor length gown with attached polonaise skirt. The semi-fitted bodice with attached stomacher is criss-crossed with satin ribbon and edged with satin ribbon and lace. The very full main skirt can be made from one color or have a contrasting insert to match the stomacher (as shown). Attached, pleated and lace-edged polonaise skirt drapes both sides of the main skirt. Sleeves are three-quarter length with full ruffled bottom edged in lace, satin ribbon, and bows. Back zipper closure. Your choice of available colors.
Girls sizes 5-16 $75 without the polonaise skirt $70
Women’s sizes 4-20 and prices will vary.

~Lace Gown~

LACE GOWN: Exquisite gown consisting of a beautiful overdress and contrasting underskirt. Over dress has fitted bodice with contrasting lace stomacher, elbow length sleeves with deep ruffles pinned back to reveal deep lace ruffles, front edges of gown and sleeves are bordered with matching soutache braid, back hemline has a gentle train. Back zipper closure. The contrasting full underskirt has a waistband and hook and eye back closure. Your choice of available colors. Girls sizes 5-16 $85. Women’s sizes 6-20 and prices will vary.

Chemise: Simple pull-over undershirt with short sleeves, ribbon gathered neckline and hemline. Finished length is just below natural waistline. $14

Camisole: Sleeveless cotton undershirt with eyeleting along neck and armhole edges, decorative pin-tucking down front, bow trim, gathered front attaches to a loosely fitting band, back button closure. Finished length is below natural waistline. $15

petticoat

Petticoat: two tiers, eyelet trimmed hemline bordered with satin ribbon, elasticized waist mid-calf length $18; ankle $20

Pantalets: loose fitting straight legs, eyelet trim hemline bordered with satin ribbon, growth strips, elasticized waist, ankle length unless specified $18

~Nightgown and Lappet Cap~

This lovely colonial nightgown with lappet cap set is made from soft white cotton or warm flannel. Both girl and doll nightgowns have round gathered necklines edged in delicate lace and a ribbon bow (the girl’s neckline is elasticized), 3/ 4 length gathered sleeves with lace trim edging and ribbon bows, and the colonial period gussets joining sleeves to nightgown. The girl’s nightgown is ankle length and the doll’s is shift length. Lappet caps are made from the same fabric as the nightgown with ruffled edging and ribbon ties. Girls sizes 4 to 16 and women’s sizes.
