The months that I did this with my kids were very special, as we read this books together, wrote about them, and talked about them. I recommend them, though the lesson plans were not always easy to follow. We just read the books and did what we could w/the teacher manual. The fun was in the literature. Also in the writing assignments (Concept Builders and Writing Warmups).
