With his comedic style, host Dave Stotts travels through time in an H1 Hummer introducing his viewers to the people and places that helped shape the United States of America.
Discover the character, faith, and experiences of America's Founders as they developed this great country where we can worship, work, travel, and live in freedom! In this adventure-filled teaching series, you'll travel to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Virginia to learn about the life and times of George Washington, Ben Franklin, John Quincy Adams, Abigail Adams, Benjamin Banneker, and more… all presented in their historical context.

• Features Teacher's Guide on DVD-ROM.
• Includes reproducible student worksheets, activities, and formal assessments.
• Meets curriculum standards established by the National Council for the Social Studies.
• Appropriate for Middle School and High School. Paint Today: Complete Course and Materials, videotape (VHS) version, asking $25 High School: This satisfies the 1 Credit required in Visual/Lang./Performing Arts. Draw Today (using acrylic paints) uses professional-grade acrylic paints to teach the three dimensions of color-- hue, value and chroma: not just the color wheel, but the complete color globe or sphere. Students learn how to recognize colors within these three dimensions, and then how to mix paints to recreate the desired effect on paper or canvas. Because of the pre-printed aids included in the program, students need not have mastered any of the skills taught in Draw Today--i.e., where to place the right color--prior to studying Paint Today. However, you need to know that this program does not teach the Draw Today skills. If you lack proficiency in drawing, you really do need the separate course before you can expect to achieve independent success in painting. In art school, Paint Today would be known as "Color Concepts." Unlike most students' experience in art school, however, Paint Today leads to visible success in mere hours rather than months (though you should plan to spend days, months or years practicing these concepts before you become a true master.) For students in 5th grade and up. Please e-mail triciajoy@joyfulnoise.us if interested. Thanks! I am in CA and will determine postage if you give me your location. ; )
