We have some really neat books on detectives and criminal investigation written for kids that we’d like to sell. Some were ex-lib. books but are in very nice to excellent condition. Thanks for checking them out! THE HISTORY OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION – Advances That Have Changed the World from Science Discovery. This is a large hardback book, 48 pages, and in great condition. Contents include fingerprinting, blood tests, firearms ID, suspects, and a lot more. Plenty of full color photos and illustrations. 3.00 THE KNOW HOW BOOK OF DETECTION by Tiger Books International, London – large hardback in great shape, loaded with cartoon illustrations (like graphic comics) covering topics from reading clues, fingerprinting, collecting evidence, to Interpol and stake-outs! 32 pages. 2.00 CRIME SCIENCE – How investigators use science to track down the bad guys by Vivien Bowers. This is a very interesting large hardback with 64 pages and covers topics on evidence gathering, counterfeits and forgeries, computers and crime, identifying the criminal and the victim, crime scene and much more. 2.00 DETECTIVE ACADEMY: Interviews and Interrogations from Scholastic. Paperback with 48 pages, loaded with all the basic information in a really fun and interesting format using “Case File” crimes to work through. Additional activities were at one time available at the Scholastic website but no longer. The book is complete and offers hours of interesting learning. 1.50 UNDERCOVER AGENTS: REBELS WITH A CAUSE by Paul Thomas. This is a very nice hardback with exciting biographies of famous “rebels”, such as Guy Fawkes, Daniel Defoe, Benedict Arnold, Harriet Tubman, Mata Hari, and several others. 48 pages, filled with black & white and color photos and depictions. 2.00 Shipping:
