Thinking Through Grammar - Sophomore Level - a Dr. Whimbey Book - by Arthur Whimbey, Myra J. Linden, and Brad Frieswyk. Uses sentence combining and other transformational exercises to familiarize students with the grammar and punctuation of a wide variety of standard English sentence patterns that they can apply to their writing immediately. The lessons take just 10 to 15 minutes and work well as an independent study for students. Softcover, brand-new, never used - $15ppd (I paid $23 for this brand-new).
