An Amazon review:
This little book is the best "how to play" book for kids I've ever seen. Unlike most
instructional books, this is written at a level that my 2nd grader can comprehend, but a 7th
grader will also enjoy. Each position has its own chapter, as well as one chapter each on
base-running (a lost art), pitching, hitting, strategy, and even how to keep score. The
artwork is simple pen sketches, nothing dramatic, but good. I am buying this book for
every kid on my team, and I believe they will enjoy reading it as much for fun as they will
for instruction. It is truly a fun book to read for kids.
