I'm done homeschooling and these are the odds and ends I still have. These are from a nonsmoking home and condition is noted next to the items. Buyer pays shipping (and insurance if desired) based on buyer's zip code at media mail rate. I accept Paypal or a M.O. only NO checks please! Saxon Math 5/4 Student Book, Tests and Answer Key 2nd ed. $5 Hardback student text, first few pages show where something spilled on the book; there is some highlighting of important concepts and a few pencil marks here and there; binding is tight. The activity masters/test booklet is complete with no marks. The Answer Key has been separated and hole punched for a 3ring binder, but is complete with no marks. This set is all that is needed for a complete year of math for a 4th or 5th grader, but since there is a spill mark on the student text and it's an earlier edition, I'm practically giving it away. Scholastic Math Practice Books $3 each or all three for $8 New, unused 64 page workbooks with answer key in back of each. Each contain 50 independent practice pages that help 4th8th graders master and reinforce their essential math skills and meet the NCTM Standards. They are titled 1) Word Problems 2) Fractions and Decimals and 3) Algebra Readiness. Excellent supplement to your core math curriculum. Critical Thinking Books Math Word Problems ThreeWorkbook Set $25 New, never used – Level A covers Whole Numbers and Fractions, Level B covers Decimals and Percents and Level C covers Mixed Concepts; Whole Numbers to Percents. They help students conquer word problems by teaching when and how to apply the math operations they already know to reallife situations. The developmentally sequenced problems in each book are arranged so they cannot be solved by rote processes. Each problem requires its own thinking/problemsolving approach rather than applying the same solution process to entire groups of problems. Each workbook Includes answers, instructions at the beginning of each concept, and examples as models to reassure students about what is expected of them. Excellent supplement to your core math curriculum. BJU Math 6 2nd Edition $15 Includes softcover student textbook and the tests answer key, no writing or highlighting. Key Skills for Multiplication and Key Skills for Division CDRoms $5 each, both for $8 These have only been out of their cases once when I originally installed them, so they are in excellent condition; no scratches. These run on Mac 8.0 or higher or Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP (I don't know if they will run on later versions). They are for ages 8 and up. The Multiplication CD allows your child to practice the basic facts on up to multiplying 3digit numbers by 2digit numbers and multiplying decimals. The Division CD allows your child to practice division skills from basic division facts to dividing decimals by singledigit whole numbers, to dividing 4digit numbers by 2digit numbers. Each CDRom uses five different games to practice math skills. Quarter Mile Math v. 6.3 Levels 13 Complete Bundle $30 I bought this several years ago and have only taken it out of its package twice in order to install it (it doesn't need to be in the computer to run the program). This one CD is for K9th and covers 323 topics. The instructional brochure is also included. This is a hybrid CD and will run on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP and Macintosh System 7.1 through OS X (OS X with System 9), NonPower Macs, Power Macs, and iMac. Rainbow Resource has a detailed description of this program, but in a nutshell it is a computer math drill program using either racing cars or horses and the goal (after the first five attempts at each topic) is to beat your own timed score. Forget flashcards and boring paper drill worksheets, this is actually quick, fun and a painless way for kids to work on their computational speed, a very important skill that kids must master in order to do higher level math. Thanks for looking!
