Subject:	Learning Adventures: World of Adventure Ancient History complete curriculum

What a fun curriculum! We really enjoyed this in our home. If you have not heard of this program, it is a year long unit study revolving around history yet it includes the following subjects as well:

Bible/Character Training
Language Arts/Literacy
Social Studies
Science
Fine Arts
Just add a math program, foreign language, PE or other subject you want to include and your year's curriculum is complete. The target age range for this program is 4-8 grade...but they do sell a pre-K extender kit to incorporate younger children at the same time. The also have several volumes after this one that extend into older grade/age ranges.

Course studies include: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Reformation, and Age of Exploration.

The basis for the curriculum are a few key historical novels, and then a large list of library books with which to checkout and explore as you study that period of history. Very easy and economical. The projects are easy but very fun and engaging. This was a very easy to use curriculum..and if you have been a previous user of programs such as Sonlight, Tapestry of Grace, etc....it gives you the same great literature based format without the exhaustive pace. This is one of Cathy Duffy's top 101 picks.

Condition: student pages are NEW (we copied ours), manual (unfortunately) has a coffee spill on the first 2-3 pages. Doesn't affect the print. There is minimal pencil marks and a few pages with small highlighted areas.
