I almost cried as I read these posts. I too have struggled with feeling like a failure with my children. I have struggled with writing with my children and they aren't doing very well in the higher level math (Algebra) either. I have been worried that maybe I am messing up my children and they won't be ready for college. That I haven't been doing a good enough job of teaching them. But they want to do school on their own. They don't want a lot of help. Your post gave me encouragement to keep plugging away. It reminded me that I need to be faithful in what the Lord has asked me to do and that He will take care of the rest...including my failures.
