As another school year decends upon us, it becomes even more obvious how much I've let my children down. I've always been determined not to send them to public school because I didn't want them around those influences. Honestly, though, they probably would have excelled better as far as schooling goes. I have three children..14, 12 and 10. Last year was a terrible year. They fought and I sank into a deep depression. We did very little school. The 10 year old can read, but can't spell and knows little math...all my fault. The 14yo has learning disabilities, I'm sure, and I am so embarrassed of his spelling over the computer and texting. I know he is too and he thinks he is stupid but he absolutly is not.
Here is my situation: Has anyone else ever gotten behind? Really behind? I am really trying to find a way to catch them all up in the math and english and spelling subjects during this school year. I am finally motivated to fix this and I think they are too. Is there anyway to catch them up and fix my mistakes? Like remedial programs? Please help! Thank you in advance!
