I have a son who is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He has problems with nothing being clean enough for him. If he could we would use paper plates, bowls, forks, glasses... everything. He inspects everything at home and when we are out. I have tried giving him space and advised him to re-wash anything that he wishes. I've also tried giving him lots of choices so, he can feel he has control over his life, choices, etc... I can't give you any answers but hopefully you know you have not failed and there are others out there with you!
