Hi we will be new to MUS this year I have two boys close in age and one daughter who is 11 going into 7th grade who is way behind in math she just isn't catching on to the concept of Multiplication, the last two years have been rough her older brother was in an auto accident on life support and in hospital care for a year, then home care and lots of trips to the doctors, so we need to play catch up. I bought the TE and DVDS for the first three books I need to still get the student books, I am thinking of starting her out with the boys from the beginning I am sure she will not be in the first few levels long just long enough to get the concept down before I move her to the multiplication book.

You said:
"The nice thing is that if you are using it with multiple children, you only have to buy the student pack the second time around."

Just wondering if you are saying you can buy one student book and make copies for each child is this possible to save money? is this what you meant? thanks please let me know.

Right now I am trying to figure out how many sets do I need of the manipulative's for all three kids if I am going to sit with all three at once. Once my daughter catches on she doesn't have to work with the boys just in the beginning.

I asked MUS they think that I should stagger the kids but for time sake I don't have it. She said it may work just with the starter set and the completer set but depends not sure what she means.
