I used it for the first time last year. I really liked it. I would do a few things differently now that I've used it once, but I will keep using it. I did not use anything else but source writing texts and a guideline from my curriculum.

First, I felt pressured by the curriculum I was using it with to go through it faster than should have. Slow down and let them master each step before you go on. Just like Andrew Pudewa suggests.
Second, I would watch all the video and look through the entire book before I started using it. I had only viewed and watched what my curiculum suggested at each stage.
I recommend it to my friends.
