My son used Saxon for awhile in the younger grades, then we found Math-U-See. While my son liked Math-U-See, he ran into a few problems with it in the upper levels. Sometimes the explanations did not cover every type of problem he encountered in the lesson. He got behind. Then, we found TT. He absolutely loved it. He completed the Algebra 2 in three months and nearly tested out of college algebra on the Compass test at the community college. He will finish his associates in 2 weeks and graduate with a 4.0.' I highly recommend Teaching Textbooks.
