Hi. It is very easy to homeschool in Ky. We have to turn in a letter of intent each year and keep attendence records. There is no portfolio requirements or testing requirements. There is a good homeschool group LIGHT in Danville, Ky but a lot of their activities are in Lexington. I think you could probably find a group in Lexinton as well. The state organization is called CHEK (Christian Home Educators of KY) If you go to their website you will find a list of a lot of groups. I don't have college age children yet, so don't have answers to college questions. I am biased I know....but Ky is a great place to Homechool!! ;0). Blessings,
